SolarSquare, a leading Indian rooftop solar startup, has raised $40 million in a Series B funding round led by Lightspeed, with contributions from Lightrock, Elevation Capital, and others. Founded in 2015 by Shreya Mishra, Neeraj Jain, and Nikhil Nahar, the company provides end-to-end residential solar solutions, including installation, financing, and maintenance. The funds will help SolarSquare expand operations to 50 cities, develop advanced remote-monitoring tech, and double its 800-strong workforce, primarily in sales and customer service.
